The state of the deployment — by license, territory, milestone.
Two active licenses plus a direct regional channel. Active MINI‑MAX™ rollouts in four markets. OMNI‑MAX™ in production for the mid-scale tier. Direct dealer activation through JAS in Mexico. Channel sequencing across additional Mahindra-branded territories. One institutional alliance coordinating global reach.
Manufacturing, distribution, warranty, and service sit with licensees. The IP and architecture stay with Clean Seed. This page documents who is producing, who is distributing, where, and on what timeline — the current condition of the business, not a forecast.
Active licenses. Distinct roles.
Clean Seed deploys through two active licensees, each operating a distinct role in the platform. Mahindra carries manufacturing and territorial sales. The Soil + Sky Alliance coordinates institutional reach. Each license extends the platform into a new channel without adding operating cost to Clean Seed. Alongside the licenses, Clean Seed originates direct regional commercial channels where the dealer relationship is best held inside the company — JAS in Mexico is the first, with 150+ activated dealer locations under an exclusive agreement. The licensing path was first validated and monetized through AMVAC's 2020 strategic agreement (see Architecture).
Limited license on the SMART Seeder MAX™ architecture's variable-rate technology — integrated into AMVAC's SIMPAS® application platform. The first disclosed validation of the architecture's licensing economics; license terms subsequently bought out by AMVAC, realizing the model in a one-time monetization.
Validated · MonetizedTwo coordinated agreements. Manufacturing/warranty: Clean Seed-branded MINI‑MAX™ produced and shipped globally by Mahindra at OEM scale, with warranty and parts supply. Branded sales: Mahindra-branded, red-labeled MINI‑MAX™ sales and distribution rights across India, Africa, Turkey, and most of Asia.
Dual · MINI‑MAXPlatform license for global deployment through institutional, governmental, NGO, and cooperative channels. Clean Seed acquired a stakeholder position with governance oversight. The Alliance operates the data layer above the hardware — as a function of the Alliance, not a Clean Seed monetization vector.
Platform · MINI‑MAXWhere deployment lives — and what's queued behind it.
The licenses above operate across multiple markets. This is the territory-level state — by region, by deployment format, by current stage. Active markets generate revenue and partner traction today. Sequencing markets sit in the licensed footprint with channel work underway. The home market anchors the architecture's origin and validation infrastructure.

India is the first national-scale rollout — built and tested with Mahindra.
Mahindra — the world's largest tractor manufacturer by volume — led 18+ months of field validation in India. The MINI‑MAX™ achieved ICAR certification — India's premier agtech research authority. Government and diplomatic site visits included India's Agriculture Minister. Subsidy program engagement is advancing alongside ~$30B in annual fertilizer subsidies, with Mahindra leading the application.
18+ Months of Mahindra-Led Testing
MINI‑MAX™ was tested over 18+ months in India under Mahindra leadership. Trials included Chandigarh University, local agronomists, and farmer cooperatives — establishing the platform's performance across multiple regional cropping systems.
ICAR Certification
MINI‑MAX™ achieved certification from ICAR — the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, India's premier agtech research authority. Government and diplomatic site visits during validation included India's Agriculture Minister, establishing institutional recognition at the ministry level.
Subsidy Program Inclusion
India subsidizes fertilizer inputs at scale, with programs estimated at ~$30B USD annually. MINI‑MAX™ has completed rigorous subsidy program testing. Final program inclusion is advancing, with Mahindra leading the formal application — pending finalization through standard regulatory channels.
"The Mini Max Seeder is an innovative no-till multi-crop seed drill — reducing fertilizer inputs and eliminating stubble burning while improving farm profitability."
Established channel. 150+ dealer locations activated.
Exclusive agreement with JAS — a leading Mexican agricultural dealer group with established private-channel reach across the country. Phase one deployment is active; expansion target ~500 dealerships by 2027.
Mexico's precision agriculture sector is projected to grow at 10%+ CAGR through 2030. The JAS partnership puts MINI‑MAX™ into a regional channel already operating at scale — with ag-finance, sales, and service infrastructure embedded in the local market. Phase one is dealer activation; phase two is expansion sequencing across the dealer base.
Exclusive regional rights. First Alliance-coordinated deployment.
Exclusive regional agreement with Brazilian distribution partner — initial orders securing rights through 2026. Brazil is the first regional rollout under Soil + Sky Alliance coordination, layered onto Clean Seed's existing distribution agreement.
Brazil represents 65M+ hectares of seeded cropland — one of the largest single addressable agricultural markets in the world. The deployment is structured to launch through the regional partner's commercial channel while the Soil + Sky Alliance carries the institutional and policy engagement. The local partner leads regulatory approvals and market rollout.
A global footprint across four institutional layers.
The Alliance operates at scale across capital, policy, coalition, and field — its own footprint, not a service layer beneath the regional channels. Clean Seed issued the MINI‑MAX™ platform license to the Alliance and acquired a stakeholder position with governance oversight.
Who does what — and what stays with Clean Seed.
The platform is engineered so manufacturing, distribution, warranty, and service sit with licensees and regional partners. Clean Seed retains the architecture, the patent estate, and the stakeholder position. No owned manufacturing. No owned infrastructure. Where Clean Seed has originated a direct dealer channel — Mexico with JAS — the operating capital still sits with the partner. Capital-light by design, partner-led at every operating layer, structured for global scale.
Mahindra
MINI‑MAX™ produced and shipped globally at OEM scale through Mahindra's existing manufacturing footprint. Mahindra funded the original build. OMNI‑MAX™ in production through the same OEM lane.
